Our Story
BabyBloom wasn't born from a business plan.
It was born from infertility. From heartbreak, unanswered questions, so many failed cycles, and the exhausting reality of living in a world where women are expected to endure the most physically and emotionally demanding journey of their lives… quietly. While being expected to still show up for work and in my life.
Like so many women, I once assumed pregnancy would be simple. Not effortless, but normal. Something that would happen when the time was right.
Instead, I entered a world of appointments, injections, procedures, waiting, loss - and the kind of grief that goes well beyond words.
It turns you into a (furious) researcher, a project manager, and your own medical advocate… often while pretending you're fine and having to put up a smile when your friends get pregnant.
I never thought that, 3 years later, I would STILL be fighting infertility to get my first baby. Over time, my case became increasingly complex, involving immune and clotting factors that aren't always part of standard fertility care, diagnostic laparoscopy, fibroid and pelvic adhesions removal… and an ongoing combat against a very persistent and aggressive chronic endometritis. I found myself navigating a maze of protocols, medications, lab work, and acronyms, learning more about my body than I ever wanted to know.
And yet, even with knowledge and access to specialized care, I still felt overwhelmed.
Because nothing was centralized.
Everything lived everywhere: clinic portals, scattered PDFs, pharmacy instructions, notes, screenshots, spreadsheets… and the mental load of trying to hold it all together.
That's when BabyBloom became inevitable.
Two sisters. One mission.
BabyBloom is also deeply personal for another reason:
I built it alongside my younger sister, Clémentine, an Ob-Gyn practicing in Finland - and someone who, like me, has walked through infertility first-hand.
For years, we fought our battles side by side, comparing protocols, analyzing results, and sharing the same hope… and the same fear.
In December 2025, after her fourth embryo transfer, Clémentine finally received the news we had been waiting for.
That transfer gave her her first son - and my first nephew, and godson.
It was a moment that reminded us why we were building this in the first place: because behind every "cycle" is a life someone is desperately trying to create.
Clémentine helped review and validate BabyBloom's medical content, shaping it with both professional expertise and lived experience.
In many ways, BabyBloom is the result of two sisters - fighting infertility, surviving IVF, and building something together that we wish had existed when we needed it most.

Why BabyBloom exists.
BabyBloom is not just a fertility app. It's a support system, designed to bring structure, clarity, and to regain control back into a process that feels utterly chaotic and cruel.
It is a place to track cycles, medications, labs, procedures, embryo development, symptoms… without needing to become your own spreadsheet expert.
And maybe most importantly: a place that makes you feel less alone.
If you're here, I want you to know something:
You are not imagining it.
You are not "behind."
You are not failing.
You are doing something unimaginably hard.
BabyBloom exists because I believe women deserve better tools - and much better care and support - while they fight for the family they dream of.
With love,
Caroline
